The birth of camping in the Lot
The story of Camping de la Sole in the Lot is one of a dream come true. In 2014, the owners decided to change their lives to realize their dream of running a campground.
As a family, they took over the Camping de la Sole, an establishment that needed some love and hard work to bring it up to date and, above all, to reflect their image.
The evolution of Camping de la Sole
Over the years, Camping de la Sole has evolved into a 4-star campsite, offering a unique experience to its visitors. In 2019, an indoor swimming pool was added, allowing campers to enjoy the water whatever the weather. In 2022, an aqualudic area with water games and waterslides was created, specifically for children aged 4 to 12.
Camping de la Sole has become a place of peace and quiet, where families, young couples, senior citizens and foreigners can relax and enjoy nature. The atmosphere is family-friendly, with ping-pong and basketball tournaments during the day, and aperitifs between campers in the evening. The campsite also offers a snack bar and bar with live music and games such as billiards, table soccer and air field hockey.

The future looks bright for Camping de la Sole in the Lot. The owners still have lots of ideas for improving their establishment and making their campers’ stay even more enjoyable.
In particular, they have developed exclusive partnerships with local tourist sites, such as night visits with headlamps to the Lacave caves and special evenings at Reptiland, as well as with local artisans, such as the cardboard workshop where Hélène teaches how to transform cardboard into original works of art.
