The Bonnefont Marsh
The Marais de Bonnefont Regional Nature Reserve, located in the commune of Mayrinhac-Lentour, less than 30 minutes from the campsite, is a 42-hectare protected natural area. Its ecological diversity and rich biodiversity make it an ideal setting for discovering and preserving wetlands.
🌾A natural gem in the heart of the Barousse valley
A former glacial lake transformed into a wetland, this marsh is now a magical place where nature reigns supreme. Here you’ll find rare plants (even carnivorous ones!), birds, frogs, dragonflies… a veritable living world to be observed discreetly.
A wooden path winds its way through reed beds and wet meadows, inviting young and old alike to enjoy an accessible and rewarding stroll.
